CastLab nominated for the 2022 Railsponsible Supplier Award!

Two weeks ago, our representatives visited the world-renowned international trade fair for transport technology: InnoTrans Berlin! It enabled us to engage in conversations with several major OEM’s and operators in the mobility industry, such as Siemens, Wabtec Corporation, and Deutsche Bahn. Interesting discussions on spare parts management unfolded, and we were given the opportunity to demonstrate our Digital Inventory Tool and the Digital Warehouse. All in all, our visit has been invaluable and we are confident that great collaborations lie ahead. 

 Besides this, our partner NS (Dutch Railways) nominated us for the 2022 Railsponsible Supplier Award! Railsponsible is a leading initiative in the railway industry dedicated to support sustainable practices throughout the industry’s supply chain. This year the award was focused on Circularity. CastLab uses recycled aluminium and aims to melt old parts to re-use the material. Although we have not won the prize, the nomination shows that the path we have taken leads in the right direction to make a difference.
